What is processed. This website has no accounts, no enquiry form and no newsletter sign-up. Two categories of data arise. First, technical connection data recorded automatically by the hosting provider, comprising the IP address, the pages requested, the time of the request, and the browser and operating system reported. Second, the content of any email sent voluntarily to an address published on this website.
Purpose and lawful basis. Connection data is processed to deliver the website, maintain its security and diagnose faults, on the basis of the legitimate interest of BYZ Partners AG in operating a secure and functioning website (Swiss revFADP; Article 6(1)(f) GDPR where that regulation applies). Email correspondence is processed to respond to the enquiry it contains.
Recipients and transfers abroad. Technical connection data is processed by the website's hosting provider acting as a processor. This website also loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which involves the visitor's IP address being transmitted to Google LLC in the United States. No data is sold, and no data is used for advertising.
Retention. Connection data is retained only as long as needed for security and operational purposes. Email correspondence is retained as long as needed to handle the matter it concerns and to meet applicable record-keeping obligations.
Rights. Subject to the applicable law, data subjects may request access to their personal data, its rectification or deletion, and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Requests may be sent to the address above.
